Leviticus 5:17 If a person sins and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, even though he does not know it, he is guilty and will be held responsible.
Commentary:
We are not given to much latitude here. A sin is a sin. God is not impressed when we try to re-write His rules. What we should each take from this verse is that it should be our responsibility to know the rules.
